विवरण (Description)यह गीत माता के प्रति अनन्य भक्ति और श्रद्धा का प्रतीक है। ‘अलख जगाना’ का अर्थ है ईश्वर के नाम का आह्वान करना या जागृति फैलाना। इस जस गीत में भक्त माता करौली और ज्वाला देवी के द्वार पर खड़े होकर उनसे दर्शन की गुहार लगा रहा है। गीत में माता को ‘भाग्यविधाता’ कहा गया है, जिनके नाम की गूँज पूरे संसार में है। भक्त माता को चुनरी और चोली अर्पित करने की मन्नत मांगते हुए उनके प्रति अपना पूर्ण समर्पण व्यक्त करता है।
