Lord Indra

King of the devas (divine beings), god of thunder, lightning, storms, and rain in Vedic tradition. He wields the vajra (thunderbolt). He is frequently mentioned in the Rigveda and plays a major role in Vedic mythology. His mount is the white elephant Airavata.
